Funny story, My father in law passed away recently. He wanted to see that car, I think because all his relatives were buzzing about it. I drove it up the gravel incline, straddling the ruts, so he could see it. Everyone was shocked!!! I wouldnt have given a single fuk if I had tore the front end up just so he could see it.

My in laws owned the dealership I bought it from and my father in law was disabled and couldnt leave the house.

He was literally the best human being I ever had the privilege to know. The second is my wife. She's a lot like him!!! Damn! I love that woman!!!

Let's see, what did I do this year....

Replaced the front and rear bumpers, they look good. I went ahead and painted the metal areas around those areas while I had them off.

Replaced the stereo, and finished my amp/woofer project.

Replaced all the interior bulbs, dome, foot, temperature, dash, etc, with blue LEDs. I did it long ago, but some were going out.

Replaced the worn seat roller bushings. Stitched some cloth on my seat, and stuffed some cushion in it first lol. Added door guards.

Installed a relay/fuse box to add accessories. Added 3 switches.... 1 to shut off my dome light when I have the doors off, instead of pulling a fuse, 2 goes to my rear bumper lights, and 3 goes to the Dixie horn I installed too    Oh installed a new battery.

New tires, and Im trying to think what else I've done, but cant think right off. Usual stuff too, like wiper blades, air filter, etc.

I have 2 new front fenders, that need paint, which I got, then install, but that's next Spring. Also all new fender flares all around. Debating painting the whole Jeep then adding a custom look with custom stickers. I might cheap out, jus paint the fenders, the hood, and the cowl... which are the only areas that need some love.

My custom look you ask? I'm doing a mash up, of the Dukes of Hazzard, and Lord of the Rings lol. It will be..... General GimLee!!!! 

Holy crap, Blaze! That's a whole lotta TLC and I love the mashup!!!  haha..  I think I posted a picture of my Jeep before. It's boring as hell, but hoping the new wheels will set it off a bit. I'm keeping the standard-sized tires. I live on a dirt road full of potholes and would probably bounce off the road into the ditch with bigger tires :D lol

Oh, I bought a clutch kit and flywheel too, jus haven't installed it.

I knew you would love the mashup lol, I've done a Photoshop mock up. Instead of an 01 on the door, its gonna be the ring and Sting lol. General GimLee on the side of the hood. I already have other LotRs stuff on it, that I custom did, and its already got the Dixie horn lol.

I remember you posting a pic of Silver when you got it!

They got a lot of snow. Plus -30 temps. They have to do something to keep the roads clear. People chose gravel as the lesser of the 2 evils.
