I had UHC years ago. My wife had a major surgery at the time and I must say I never had a problem with them.

I also find it interesting how this guy is turning into kind of a folk hero, much like people admired Dillinger because he was robbing the banks that screwed them over. Not many people have a positive opinion of the US health care system and nobody is crying over this guy getting whacked.

On Reddit, a user speculated the suspect's jacket was a Sherpa Lined Two Pocket Hooded Trucker Jacket by Levi's ... sold at Macy's for the retail price of $225.

The jacket's popularity has since spread like wildfire on the company's website ... where more than 6,000 people were viewing the jacket at the same time -- and nearly 700 were sold in the past 48 hours, according to an item popularity tool on Macy's site.

Yikes.  Never had to deal with pharms for myself and I ain't on any now (but I still gotta get the Part D or pay a permanent penalty.  WTF is that!)  But I never had anything denied in the past for my spouse, and some of that shit was quite expensive.

I blame Obama for fucking up healthcare even worse than it was.

How does Medicare work when you turn sixty five? From what Oliver says you can be denied.

As far as I know, they make you take it.  Ollie and I are the same age - old as dirt.  But I think Ollie's dirt is a few months older than my dirt.  I just had to sign up, so now all the schmuck taxpayers are gonna pay for my health insurance ... er, I mean, now I get a return for all the money confiscated from me over the years to pay for other people's healthcare.

It's a complicated business.

All I know is that now I'm spending about a thousand dollars less a month for basic health insurance that I had to pay just for myself before I reached the magic age.

It sounds like Old Age Security in this country. You are automatically registered, but you can be denied.

Well, I think foreigners and people who never paid into the system should be denied, but they still hand it to them and call it Medicaide instead of Medicare. It still comes out of the pockets of the productive in society through taxation.
