I'd rather meet someone in person, because "online personas" are usually fake as fuck. I'm an empath to a degree, so I can usually tell if someone is the type of person I'd want to talk to, or completely avoid.

I met a girl by an elevator and we hung out together for the next 40 years.  You never know when and where you might meet that one person.

That is a common complaint from people who use those dating sites.
