It plunged here earlier today all the way to 20C (68F). Had to wear my thongs (flip flops) with wool socks and thermal underwear beneath the board shorts. Pray for me folks. That this artic vortex ends quickly.

Funny story about shit like this:

We were down visiting the older kids in Florida a few weeks back and one morning it was 59F. I see all these motherfuckers walking around in sweaters and jackets, I'm in a tee shirt!!! I asked my daughter, when its below 70F, does Florida Man fall out of the trees like with the lizards?

I truly hate how things are becoming.

My friend at work trying to get me to go to Japan with him lol. That place looks clean too. Plus as you know I love Asian culture. Hell, I took 8 years of Okinawan Martial Arts. It has its good and bad, I'd like to learn some Kung Fu.

Btw, I looked up a flight to Sing briefly lol, for shits and giggles, but I need to see how much out of a larger airport, cause it was high priced and a long ass flight out of my neck of the woods.... ranging $1300 for a 35 hour flight, or $2200 for a 25 hour flight. I don't think I can stay seated that long

The differences in time are generally layover at the airport/s. So depending on the route, 10 extra hours would be at least half or more on the ground waiting.

In my experience (and I've directed traffic in busy intersections) it's mostly old people of every other description who are the biggest hazards. Imagine being surrounded by dozens of Joe Bidens driving around whenever you venture onto the roads and parking lots.

Driving while ancient is a fucking menace 'round here.

I loved taking out traffic controllers with slush spray growing up... you get that right kind of rear glide then hammer it.
