I drive a 2015 Ford. It has console text capability. But the auto replies offered are short and limited. I know if I want to give an effective reply, I have to to pull over and concentrate on the message I want to send back.

My past boss driving heavy rigs was the same. He'd get my text but unless it sounded critical, I'd have to wait for 30 mins or 3 hours for a reply.

Lol, for real though, a LOT of problems started with "smart" phones. For one they've turned folks into zombies, face in the screen all the time. Its insane to me when peeps be getting together, and yet they cant stay off that damn thing. If Im hangin' with someone I don't even touch my phone. At work, productivity goes down when folks be on their phones, I don't even like having my phone on me when Im working. I hardly even see any kids playing outdoors these days, when it use to be kids outside all the time, I know I loved the outdoors. And don't even get me started on how Globohomo wants to control us, via the phone. Or how they monitor us with our phones, etc.

Of course Im gonna go to my music festivals too this year! OH!!!! And Im going to my first concert in a few months to see Billy Strings!!!! I seen him before here at a local joint, but it was before he got big lol.

Seattle is the cheapest option, but you have already been there. You know it's a woke hellhole. How about Quebec City. They speak French there and it's a short flight from where you are.

I've been to Montreal, but not La Ville du Quebec. The old part of the city with the fortification is supposed to be beautiful.

Je parle de Francais! .... but only a lil lol. I don't know, I've heard bad things about the French part of Canada. But that was a long time ago. I'd see several peeps though if I did Seattle. I'd be a stranger in a strange land going to Quebec.

Going to see Dove was another option lol. But only for a weekend. I feel like her and I would laugh and talk our asses off lol.

Oh, believe me, I get that, but its going more and more to the phone these days, instead of someone sitting down to a desktop computer. With a computer, at least time was limited to a degree, unless someone don't have a life, but with the phones, folks have an addiction due to the easy access and on the go capability.

Quebec is no better and no worse than any other province in Canada. All of Canada has serious problems.

None of us are getting any younger, and could die at any moment. I simply would love to meet some of you e-friends I've known over the years. I started with some of you Ladies, cause of course "Ladies first" lol. But if Lokmar, Biggie, Frood, any of my dude e-friends, were to say they were close by or something, I'd still hang with them too lol. Already had a beer with Garraty, but would still have another lol. Even met a friend named Dafunbra once, his daughter goes to college here. There is a gal that wanted to meet me, that had moved 2 hours from me, wanted me to show her around lol, was a model, for real for real. Only thing is I was married at the time, and knew the wifey wouldn't approve lol. Sigh, I still regret that in hindsight. Name was Georgia Peach. Kiebers and I send each other Christmas gifts sometimes lol, I usually send my fudge lol.

Doing good as far as I know. He hasn't told me otherwise.

The wind is beginning to howl. The plunge is coming tonight again, but the coldest so far this season, and will last 2-3 days. I heard its the coldest season we had in 20 years, but I don't believe that number. It's been a few seasons for sure though. At least this will help when mosquito season comes 'round lol, a good cold winter helps with limiting those bastards for the season.
