The city of Oakland will lose 30% of its firefighting capacity in the next two weeks due to the city's $129.8 million budget deficit.

Well that's a switch, usually Oakland loses everything because of the crime rate.

Oakland has been on the downward death spiral since the Raiders and soon the A's left the city.  That $130 million is easily the money the teams generated during games.
