The USA ain't my Crazy Country but if I could be dictator for a bit, I'd jack up taxes on the Super Rich & make them pay off the US National Debt they created for 99% of the US population.

MAGA don't realize that the Make America Great Again was taken from Hitler's slogan, "Make Germany Great Again".

But at least Hitler had the common sense to double taxes on the rich from 25% to 50%. And in the process made Germany prosperous and the no 1 economy of the world in  the 1930s. He also wiped out unemployment

Doling out massive unproductive tax breaks to the ultra wealthy doesn't help 99% of the population.

Hefty Tax breaks should only be provided for billionaires if they do something useful like build roads schools hospitals dams & create jobs in America. In other words incentivized tax breaks. Give them something but expect them to give back in return.

There has to be a net benefit for providing massive tax breaks for the ultra rich otherwise it creates deficits and it doesn't work.

I support tax breaks for the ultra wealthy but only if they do something useful for the local economy

The Ultra wealthy in America should pay their fair share.

They're essentially the equivalent of the European monarchs those countries threw out years again cuz they couldn't afford them anymore.

Even countries where those monarchies still exist the state took ownership of their castles and now use them as tourist attractions to generate revenue. Holland and Sweden are like that.

Perhaps Trump might be so generous to make Mar o Lago a similar venue once he dies. He won't need the money anymore after hes dead anyway

Oh, just cram it sideways where the sun don't shine.  I was just being sarcastic about Pence pushing for helping the rich.  The Dems had plenty of time during the Clinton/Obama/Biden years to raise taxes on the wealthy to make things "fair", but they didn't have the balls to do it.

I think Clinton raised taxes on  the wealthy & then was accused of 'soaking the rich'. He got the debt down but it was later squandered by George W Bush.

George HW Bush raised taxes on Americans and it sparked a rebellion in the Republican party allowing the Democrats to regain the White House.
