And there definitely needs to be a change the way the country is run.

The Old system is breaking down & the equalization payments need a change.

Perhaps one way to address this disparity is to set up a sovereign wealth fund for each of the net contributors. Ie BC Alberta Saskatchewan & perhaps the Northern territories.

So for every dollar something is contributed to each provincial sovereign wealth fund of the net contributors?

Any event I agree that current system of equalization payments cant continue the way it is. Seems the Eastern Establishment treats provinces like Alberta as a territory than an equal partner in confederation

And if Quebec wants to reap the benefits of Alberta oil they ought to allow a pipeline through their province to ship gas and oil to Europe.

I think its important that Ottawa listen to the concerns of Alberta so that it doesn't result in a constitutional crisis.

Stop voting for the party that is putting your country in real danger of breaking up. That is how you fix this.
