My views on immigration have evolved. I used to think the more the merrier. But, after ten years of anybody who gets here with a student visa for a fake school gets to stay, immigration needs tight controls and enforcement.

There was widespread approval for Canada's immigration policy under the Harper government. Trudeau destroyed that good will with unsustainable levels of immigration that have created a housing amd health care crisis.

Unfortunately, the new Liberal PM will not make the changes that his cabinet can to make immigration work for Canada.
