George Wendt, famous for playing Norm Peterson in the iconic sitcom "Cheers," has died at 76.

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson dead at 79.

Robertson's family announced in December on their Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast that the patriarch of the clan had Alzheimer's disease. A statement on social media from Robertson's daughter-in-law didn't mention how he died.

Loretta Swit, who won two Emmy Awards playing Major Margaret Houlihan on the pioneering hit TV series "M.A.S.H.," has died. She was 87.

Swit played the demanding head nurse of a behind-the-lines surgical unit during the Korean War and along with Alan Alda was the show's longest-serving cast member.

Publicist Harlan Boll says Swit died Friday at her home in New York City, likely from natural causes.

"After a prolonged battle with COPD [chronic obstructive pulmonary disease] and other underlying health issues, Sly passed away peacefully, surrounded by his three children, his closest friend and his extended family," his family said in a statement to KTLA 5. "While we mourn his absence, we take solace in knowing that his extraordinary musical legacy will continue to resonate and inspire for generations to come."

His family called him "a monumental figure, a groundbreaking innovator, and a true pioneer who redefined the landscape of pop, funk, and rock music. His iconic songs have left an indelible mark on the world, and his influence remains undeniable."

When I clicked on this, I thought it was Sylveswter Stallone that died.

Brian Wilson, whose virtuoso vocal and musical arrangements led the Beach Boys to commercial and critical success, making them one of America's most influential bands, before personal demons waylaid his life and career for several years, has died. 

The death of Wilson, who would have turned 83 next week, was announced by his family on his social media platforms. In recent months, the family said that Wilson had a "major neurocognitive disorder" and was taking medication for dementia.
