Edmonton has the 2 best players in the world. However, Florida has a better overall team. Particularly their defense and of course goaltending.

Edmonton played Florida better last year. They stayed out of the penalty box and they had the wonder Jew Zach Hyman healthy.

Ok, Pickard sucks goat balls as much as Skinner.  How is it possible for a Cup contender to have not one, but two shitty goalies?  Isn't that statistically impossible?

Florida's playing style reminds me of the 1990's New Jersey Devils. Both teams can frustrate the best offensive teams. Bobrovsky is good, but he is no Martin Brodeur who was one of the absolute best to strap on the pads.

I predict the Oilers will lose the game again in the first period. They will get a lot of penalties and the Panthers will get a couple of power play goals.

And so it begins. Florida scores on their second shot.

2-0 for the Panthers at the end of the first.

Florida got an empty netter to make it 4-0 with 6:34 left in the game.

It's 5-1 with 4:42 left.

Florida repeats as Stanley Cup champions.

I give them credit, they are an excellent team.

And what is interesting is that this was only the fourth time in Cup history that the back to back champion defeated the same team.  The other three times happened during the Original Six era so this is the first time in the expanded league that it happened.  Very rare.
