DLR/Van Halen smoked em both, no contest. Megadeath is also way more enjoyable to me too. But hey, musical taste is of course subjective so to each his own. Ratt is still great no matter WTF you say.

You go to any KTV in East Asia from Sapporo to Singapore and they will have Temple Of The King from his Rainbow days. You contrast that ballad with Neon Knights from his Black Sabbath days or Last In Line from his solo career and you see the metal supremacy voice of Dio.

Dio was the greatest hard rock voice evah. Even stupid whites like you acknowledge that. From BALLADS like Temple Of The King to rockers like Last In Line his powerful operatic voice had no comparison. Halford was a close second though. Ozzy's nasal voice was not in in their league.
