Quote from: DKG on July 25, 2025, 10:37:07 AMHere is what Liz Truss had to say about Carney's stint at the B of E.

Carney 'did a terrible job' as Bank of England governor, says former British PM

"Mark Carney was the governor of the Bank of England who printed money to a huge extent, creating inflation," she said, referencing the policymaker's decision to reactivate a money printing programme in response to Brexit-related risks it had publicly warned about.

"He was the one who created the pensions crisis in the first place by not regulating the pensions industry properly," she suggested.

She went on to suggest that Carney is among the cohort who "move in and out of the financial sector" and don't believe in actually representing the interests of the electorate.

"They fundamentally believe that government should be run by experts who know best, which is them and their friends. They do not believe that democracy is a bottom-up thing."

The "terrible job" that Mark Carney did was, I think you will find, a deliberate attempt to destabilize Theresa May's government which was making great strides in the whole Brexit thing. Brexit, you surely agree, is not exactly congruent with a globalist's agenda.

Knowing this, you might be in a better position to understand why he has been parachuted into Canada at a time when popular sentiment in Alberta and Saskatchewan leans toward independence.

Look at where England is today. Are you starting to understand why I'm telling you to get the fuck out of Ontario while the gettings good yet?

What you posted about Theresa May's dislike of Carney goes without saying.

Prairie separation sentintiment exploded after Carney was parachuted into Canada.

Imagine what it will be like when the place is flooded with hordes of "refugees" expressing sentiments against the locals that sound like Shen-Li on angel dust... kicking the utter living shit out of the menfolk and raping anything not in a burka... upwards of the tune of 20,000 incidents per annum.

Just like in Britain today. Get out while you still can.

But to those who want to separate & join the USA, don't forget the Dark Child in the new room you are entering called Israel. Pledge allegiance to the USA, pledge one to Israel as well  Like it or not, a union with the United States also means another with Israel. If Israel asks the US to go to War with them they must go & do its bidding. And keep in mind over half of Americans including Republicans such as Tucker Carlson have an unfavorable view of Israel.

This is the primary reason I would never separate and join the United States. When you join another club or merge  with it, you also inherit its baggage, debts & alliances. And the resources of Alberta & Saskatchewan would feed their War machine. Kind of like getting married to someone on their 2nd or 3rd marriage with their 'extended family' you now have to spend time with & take care of. As well as your own out of pocket expenses to feed them.

Just thought I'd letcha all know. A dose of reality is sometimes useful.

I don't know a lot about the internal politics of Australia or the UK. A trip to Scotland is on my bucket list.

We don't get any of this because the Liberals decided to spend ten years attacking Canadian energy.

Today, Statistics Canada confirmed just how harmful the Liberal's soft on crime policies have been for Canadians.

Trump is diversifying away from Canada and stealing new markets in Europe and Asia that should have been ours. Thanks to Conman Carney and his Liberal anti working man regime we aint getting any of that money or jobs.

Does Mark Carney either know or care about the unemployment crisis facing young people in this country?

Neither. He is intentionally making it worse.
