And all of the other expenses that go along with it. Those EV batteries are fucking heavy beasts compared to traditional ICE cars... want to tell the gallery what that means for the road system? How about when those same batteries no longer take a charge and need to be replaced? Not only do they represent a substantial percentage of a car's worth, the pollutants (and potential fire risk) of an EV battery will require a veritable fuckton of cash to be pulled from the hip pocket just to keep the Greta von Doomspergs of this planet happy! And FFS, Canada is a frozen wasteland for easily a third of the year, requiring ALL batteries to be kept heated lest they lose their charge.

The "green energy" wet dream comes with a lot of hidden costs... and ultimately is worse than worthless in terms of protecting the environment.
