If electric vehicles are so much better than gas powered vehicles, why do people have to be forced to 'choose' them.

This photo is the steel reinforcement used in the base of a wind turbine. To complete it you still have to add between 600 and 800 cubic metres of concrete, which is a weight of nearly 2000 tons.

Once the wind turbine is dismantled, this base will forever be buried in the ground.

Despite what the alarmists tell you this sort of energy is not clean and green.

So my electricity bill has almost doubled - yet the energy company says they mostly use renewable energy.

It works like this, as the consumer goes green, the electricity company LOSES MONEY by having 1 less customer, so the ones without the green energy products bills go UP, to cover the cost of the green  customers self reliance.

Not quite. You supplant a reliable source of electricity(natural gas or coal) with one that cannot produce during peak times.

Alberta next door shut down their coal fired power plants when the progs were in power. They spent tens of billions of working folks' money on wind farms. They have to buy power from nearby provinces and US states when demand spikes in summer and winter. Folks have seen their power bills quadruple since they fucked around with the electricity grid.

Windmills are a scourge in Kansas. We drove through Kansas coming back from Vegas and they're a complete eyesore. Used prop blades everywhere too!
