I only saw maybe ten of his videos before he was killed by cowards. I am watching more of them now.

I am impressed.  We lost a courageous voice. Somebody who spoke the truth and did not give a shit. Somebody who used his platform, first and foremost to go into the lion's den of academic fascism and debate. He had elephant sized balls.

One of the saddest parts of this horrific tragedy is that he gave these rodents a platform and the ability to voice their narrative while at the same time prove his wrong.

I can understand them putting a bullet in my neck. If I had a public voice I'd be preaching real hate towards their distorted versions of reality and would not give them 5 seconds of time on my platform to espouse their disgusting and degenerative philosophies

The memorial, "Building a Legacy," will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on September 21. Mr.Kirk had recently spoke about the assassination culture among Gen Z leftists.

It is so hard to pick just one. This one is a classic Mr. Kirk evisceration.

I try to avoid politics as much as possible....it's often impossible..

I did not know much about why Charlie Kirk was controversial to some people....but why is irrelevant.....he did not deserve to be permanently silenced because of his opinions.

Nobody does. Opinions in and of themselves are not reasons to be killed, it doesn't matter who you are. And while I've yet to hear a single word out of the guy's mouth, I understand Kirk was all about the opinions. A moderate who took the time to sit down with his ideological opponents and discuss their differences. I am unaware of him ever solving those differences with violent action.

I was raised left at a time when being left meant you defended free speech irrespective of whether you agreed with what was being said or not... and the right were still putting distance between themselves and the idea of putting people to death for their differences of opinions. My how times have changed. At the risk of channeling my inner Tolkien, "Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement." If you understand that reference, you will also understand how pivotal those words prove towards the end of the book it's from. I've understood it since I was ten and I stand by that precept now. I imagine if I bothered to look, I would learn that there were areas where I disagreed with Kirk, though there would be areas of overlap as well. Chances are that if I did go listen to his output, I might be convinced enough accept more of the world as he framed it.

And that is (I believe) why he was shot. The left of today (who I am assuredly NOT allied with) is shit scared of losing the culture war and mad as a cut snake as more and more people desert them. Think "wounded animal"; the left has gone completely sideways ideologically speaking; people like Kirk are its existential threat because the left cannot argue its case, it can only scream and ree.

And apparently put to death anyone whose ideas are not in lockstep with its own.

I'm sure you've heard they are cheering Kirk's assassination over on Bluesky. Some of them are insisting that JK Rowling be next. Utter insanity.

The thought of two guys together makes me sick. But, it aint my business.

I have been reading a lot of lies progs are making up about what Kirk said about queers. It's bullshit. Nah, it is a smear.
