While such studies evidently have not swayed organizations cozy with the pharmaceutical industry, they certainly caused alarm behind the scenes at the very company that made Tylenol for six decades.

Damning internal documents recently obtained by the Daily Caller indicate that years before J&J parted ways with Tylenol, some of its senior scientists admitted that a possible association existed between Tylenol and autism.

For instance, when serving as the U.S. director of epidemiology for J&J's pharmaceutical arm Janssen in 2018, Rachel Weinstein noted in an email, "The weight of evidence is starting to feel heavy to me."

After referencing "studies in prenatal exposure and neurodev outcome," Weinstein wrote, "It looks like there are a bunch of papers from 2016 that we somehow missed. Many of them by Liew et al."

One of the papers Weinstein may have been referring to was a study published in the international journal Autism Research. The study indicated that maternal use of acetaminophen for over 20 weeks of pregnancy "increased the risk of [autism spectrum disorder] or infantile autism with hyperkinetic symptoms almost twofold."

According to Renye, shortly before 10:30 a.m. ET, the suspect, identified only as a 40-year-old man from Burton, Michigan, drove through the front doors of the LDS church. The man then allegedly got out of the vehicle and "fired several rounds at individuals within the church" with an assault rifle.

There were hundreds of people in the church at the time, Renye explained during Sunday's press conference, as a service was in session.

Ten people were taken to area hospitals with gunshot wounds, one of whom was pronounced dead, Renye said. Some of those who have been hospitalized are in critical condition as of Sunday afternoon.

An officer with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and a Grand Blanc officer were the first to respond to the scene, according to Renye.

"They met the suspect and they engaged in gunfire with that particular individual, neutralizing that suspect," Renye explained. "That suspect is no longer with us."

Renye did not identify the man during Sunday's press conference, but said they would be executing search warrants and search for a motive as part of their investigation. There is no further threat to the public, according to authorities.

Investigators have not yet determined when the fire that engulfed the church was set or where it began, though preliminary information has led police to believe the suspect did it "deliberately." The fire has been put out, and the search for additional victims who may not have been able to escape the church is underway, authorities said Sunday afternoon.

The church, circled by a parking lot and a large lawn, is located near residential areas and a Jehovah's Witness church in Grand Blanc. The community of roughly 40,000 people is just outside Flint.

The man accused of killing three people after opening fire at a packed dockside restaurant went the CMT Music Awards with Kellie Pickler before filing an unfounded lawsuit against the singer.

Nigel Edge, 39, was taken into custody Saturday night after he allegedly shot at the American Fish Company restaurant, a popular tourist hotspot, in Southport, North Carolina around 9.30pm.

Edge, who changed his name from Sean DeBevoise in 2023, was 'ecstatic' to be by the American Idol star's side in 2012 as he was pictured next to her on the red carpet in his Marine uniform.

'I am ecstatic about being here at the CMT Music Awards with Kellie,' he told Taste of Country at the time, adding that he was even happier 'to consider a friend.'

'She is the most sincere person I know. She is an angel,' he added.
The North Carolina says he is veteran who has been diagnosed with PTSD. There is still non confirmation he was ever an active Marine as he claims.

Edge filed a similar lawsuit in January against Brunswick Medical Center, where he accused the facility of being part of a conspiracy launched by 'LGBTQ White Supremacists' who were this time out to get him because he survived their attack in Iraq, per the lawsuit.

Both lawsuits were dismissed with prejudice, records showed. The filing involving Pickler appears to remain open.

The Daily Mail contacted Pickler's team for comment.

Three people were killed and five were left injured after Edge, who identifies as a combat veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, allegedly opened fire, according to police.

Edge, who cops described as a 'lone wolf' in the incident, was armed with an assault rifle, police said Sunday in a press conference. Other firearms were also found in his vehicle.

He faces three counts of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Edge, who resides in Oak Island and is 'familiar' among the local police department, is being held without bond. He will make his first court appearance Monday.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear. The deceased victims have not been identified and at least one of the survivors is in critical condition, officials said.
