The Ohio Express was technically formed in 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio. I say "technically" because like putting the cart before the horse, the songs came before the band. The band you see in this video was originally Sir Timothy & The Royals. They were hired and their name changed to do live appearances as Ohio Express.

All that aside, I'm dedicating this number on behalf of my pal, the bashful Herman, to all his beloved pork-butted coloured gals:
