Perhaps a picture or two for our less intellectually inclined members such as J

Isn't that right, J

A picture or two might help your process the helpful hints as it pertains to wiping your ass with a rock J

You're welcome, J

Maybe instead of putting this thread in a new "Help" section it should be moved to the "Private" section before BF steals it and posts it on his forum under my hijacked wizer account.

BF would be all over this like flies on a pile of shit.

And it is a topic which fits right in with the Mental acumen that dominates his board

so yeah, he's gonna steal it and the local natives will most certainly be drawn to it like white on rice

I wonder if my IGTAS scale is copyright protected.

A photo of pristine candidates would actually have a lot of educational value to show the general size, shape, and contours of utilizable rocks.

No objections here.

Consider it done. Next time I'm in that predicament which should be within the next couple of days I'll photograph my selections prior to putting them to good use.

Here's a few good geologic candidates. The one on the right has the advantage of being able to scoop more effectively, too bad I found that one after this morning's dump. I thought about keeping it for future use but tossed it. 2nd from the right is a bit on the sharp side and can cause abrasions, don't ask me how I know this. The first two are typical, with a good size and taper.

So... a rounded arrowhead shape -flattish but not sharp- is what we're looking for?

Good to know.

I'm starting to wonder now. When ancient Indian arrowheads are discovered, maybe that's not what they actually were. We could be looking at early tools for butt wiping prior to the invention of toilet paper.
