What you are saying makes sense. But, Lotusbud is no more interested in debating issues than Gremlin is. She has a handle here. I was as unsuccessful in engaging her in issues as I was in my challenge to Gremlin on Project 2025.

Given much of the other... content there why BF instead of another board, or more traditional social media platforms? Surely the engagement at someplace like Bluesky would be both more welcoming and less... problematic overall.

Bluesky would be a natural fit. I agree with you and Poppy about that.

Why BF? She doesn't want a forum like this one with a higher concentration of conservatives as you pointed out. She lacks any substance. I have seen how she gets when she gets a serious reply. She doesn't like it.

I've said it many times - that bastard factory is doing schoolyards and playgrounds a public service confining kiddie predators like Admin to the computer for 22.5 hours a day

My brief experience posting with Lotusbud makes me think she likes forcing her obnoxious politics in the faces of people no matter what the discussion topic is.
