 Since im a complete fucking sucker...i finally agreed.

 When it arrived, it had a fractured leg with a nasty gash and a small tear in the crop. Pidgey was not doing good. Its been a while since ive tended to birds...domestic or feral. And ive never had a pigeon so this is my first pigeon.

 Luckily i know a few things about avain anatomy. I cleaned the gash and used triple antibiotic ointment and i use wooden coffee stirs and med tape to make a bird cast.

 When she got here she hadnt been standing..just resting on her belly. So her entire backside was covered...i mean COVERED and CAKED in bird shit. It took a while to clean her.

 I also disinfected and used medi glue on the small tear in the crop 

 We are on week 4. Shes out of her cast and using her legs. Her crop healed. And shes doing wonderfully.

 Im torn on releasing her....at least during the winter. So we may just host this feral bird until spring. Or we will keep it. We will see how it goes.

 She eats, drinks and baths herself which is great because for the first week i had to feed her manually and use a dropper to keep her hydrated.

 Shes a silly, spicey and friendly little bird. I keep forgetting shes feral.
