Liberals across the nation are in full tantrum mode after a shade of white was declared 2026's top hue.

On December 4, Pantone LLC — which is considered the global authority on color standardization — announced "Cloud Dancer," described as a "billowy white imbued with serenity," as its 2026 Color of the Year.

For years, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the US was operating bio-labs in Ukraine, warnings dismissed by Western leaders and mainstream media as misinformation.

Now, Tulsi Gabbard and others confirm the existence of these labs, showing that the warnings were accurate all along.

Questions remain: Why were these labs in Ukraine? What were they studying? And why was the truth suppressed for so long?

A Washington University in St. Louis study found that people with relatively prudent and reliable partners tend to perform better at work, earning more promotions, making more money, and feeling more satisfied with their jobs.

What the researchers call "partner conscientiousness" predicts future job satisfaction, income, and likelihood of promotion (even after factoring in the participants' original level of conscientiousness). According to the researchers, "conscientious" partners perform more household tasks, exhibit more pragmatic behaviors that their spouses are likely to emulate, and promote a more satisfying home life, all of which enables their spouse to focus more on work.

As one researcher said, "These results demonstrate that the dispositional characteristics of the person one marries influence important aspects of one's professional life." Or in non-researcher-speak, a good partner sets a good example and helps create an environment where you can be a better you.

Social Security payments with 2026 adjustments will start being sent out this week, according to the agency's schedule.

The annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) announced by the Social Security Administration (SSA) will be applied to 2026 payments distributed  this week. Recipients will see a 2.8 percent boost to their payments.

 

Saudi Arabia bombed Yemen's southern port city of Mukalla on Dec. 30, saying the strike targeted a shipment of weapons it said had arrived from the United Arab Emirates to support separatist forces.

Hot on the heels of the U.S. government's announcement of the Tech Force combing for 1,000 new recruits, 25 times that number of Americans have sent in their resumes to the cross-agency technology team.

With a two-year government contract worth as much as $200,000, recruits will be part of an "elite group" of tech specialists hired to "accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) implementation" and solve critical tech challenges.

"Backed by the White House, Tech Force will tackle the most complex and large-scale civic and defense challenges of our era," the outfit promised. "From administering critical financial infrastructure at the Treasury Department to advancing cutting-edge programs at the Department of Defense, and everything in between."

Readers on X had mixed reactions to open recruitment, with several hoping the program would only be open to Americans and others sarcastically saying that it probably should not be filled "with Indians."
