Well the current Carney government is Canada IS reducing work visas for migrant workers and paths to citizenship for them. and student visas as a path permanent citizenship as well. May not seem like it, but it's happening. The population of Canada actually declined last month as many of those who got induring the Trudeau years are leaving Canada now. It's not like the free and easy days of the Trudeau Government anymore.

Whether people like to admit it or not, the Carney government is a lot more Right Wing and hardline than the Trudeau one was.

I know this, because a lot of liberals and left wingers who voted for him are bitching and complaining.

While conservative and right wing politicians are smiling and finally getting more the pie, liberals and left wingers are not. In fact they're pissed of at Carney.
