there is no ability to turn off tagging for a single account as this is a global feature that is either turned on or turned off. For everyone.  And if you had an IQ bigger than a shoe size you would have calculated for yourself that there could be no way a programmer could code in a per user feature that denies a single user the ability to type in an @ sign followed by a username


So essentially all you've done here is deny yourself the ability use this feature in the obnoxious fashion to which you've done so thus far. So in light of your stupendous fuck up you have now limited yourself to one of two options

a) press forward with this tired charade and we all continue to mock your gross stupidity and tireless dedication to being an absolutely useless buffoon.

or
