I went to Cancun for spring break in 1988.  Back then, tourists weren't in danger, except for a case of Montezuma's revenge.

Sure! Back then, the federalies were the big scare, NOT the fukin drug dealers! Before that, in the 60's, my uncles used to go to T.J. all the time. No problemo!
