They measure how far you can bend your knee in physical therapy. They didnt clear me until after I got over 130 degrees. They likely limited Blazors movement to 90 degrees since he had an ACL repair. I just had miniscus repair with removal of a cyst so mine wasnt as invasive.

Damn, I got like 5 weeks til I HAVE to be at work. I "should" make it to 130 by then. At first I couldn't even do 90, they had me locked straight. I could barely bend it anyway, or lift it either at the time.

They put me on the stationary bike yesterday, I finally could do a full revolution. Then I was like oh shit, let me see if I can get a mile on this baby or something lol.

I think my physical therapy lasted 7 weeks and I didnt even have ACL repair. I probably had that feeling that my knee had a giant rubber band wrapped around it for another 4 weeks, and I still have numbness at the top outer side of my shin. I can kneel on that knee but I have to go easy.

Its about 95% of normal now. My surgery was mid December.

Oh, noooooo, I wont be 100% til prolly October or some shit. By mid April I should be good enough to not go to physical therapy anymore. But I wont be able to hike and dance for another 3-6 months.

My job is very physical. Thankfully not as physical now that Im in Quality. I heard there was a dayshift one open, that is also a promotion, meaning less physical, so I texted my boss about it, we see. Also, my 6 months is up by mid April too. Either I go back, or I lose my job/title. They did say they could start me part time for a couple months if I wanted upon my return.

At this rate, if I cant get that dayshift spot, Im already tempted to look for employment elsewhere. Like, maybe go back, work a week, say I cant do it, give my notice, and leave. I know I have 6 days of vacation time waiting on me that I can cash in lol.

If they are letting you ease your way back to full time hours, take it.
