The new data shows that the value of building permits fell by $1.1 BILLION in February alone, at a time when Canada critically needs to build more housing and more infrastructure so we can solve the housing crisis and stay competitive amid American tariffs.
But instead, we're seeing a decline in construction.
This is not what Canadians thought Carney meant when he said he would "build Canada strong."
