This country has become an international laughing stock.

The constant recitation of indigenous "land acknowledgements" illustrates Canada's shift towards enforced mass compliance on complicated social issues. These statements have become ubiquitous in Canadian public life: at schools, workplaces, government functions, ceremonies, and sporting events. Institutions display them on websites, documents, email signatures, and social media. A busy person in Canada may come across dozens of land acknowledgements per day in various contexts.

Although framed as optional gestures of respect, many organizations now have policies mandating land acknowledgements; in other circumstances, social pressure can make them seem obligatory even if they're not.

Land acknowledgements have morphed well beyond a simple sharing of history into something much more problematic — they have become a sort of sacred ritual with near-spiritual implications, tying certain ethnic groups to ownership over nature itself. When unpacked, there is a lot being said between the lines.

Offensive, biased hiring policies permeate Canada's governmental and educational institutions. Whites make up 70% of the 41 million population. Therefore, qualified white males — particularly those exclusively attracted to females — must be denied employment opportunities to make room for minorities. Or so goes the repugnant logic that punishes Canadians for their skin colour.

The federal Equity Employment Act and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) are ludicrously depicted as measures to guarantee fair treatment for all. They're used as weapons. They're a façade for systematic racism, sometimes laced with spite and hatred, targeting and impacting both male and female white Canadians.

Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland, recently announced five job openings for tenured professors. None are available to white heterosexual males.

"This competition is open only to applicants who identify as members of one or more employment equity groups, including women; 2SLGBTQIA+ people; Indigenous peoples; racialized persons; and persons with disabilities as per approval granted by the Human Rights Commission pursuant to Section 8 of the Human Rights Act," it stated.

Memorial accepts funding from white taxpayers through provincial grants and federal contributions. White students pay tuition fees. It accepts donations from alumni, community members, and organizations, even if they're white.

But these academic hypocrites draw the line at giving whiteys who don't claim a spot in the ridiculous MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ acronym a chance to compete for jobs.

Where's the beef?

According to the food professor, also known as Sylvain Charlebois, who runs an agri-food lab at Dalhousie University, it is not going into the hands of Canadians.

The prized red meat has become a declining product in the Canadian diet, driven by the diminishing cattle population in the country.

According to Statistics Canada (SC), as of January 2026, the cattle population was 11.1 million, a decline of an estimated 4 million compared to over two decades earlier in 2005.

Not to mention the large population difference over the two decades, with an almost 10 million population increase.

There are currently fewer cattle now than in 2005, yet the population is much larger — so, what does this mean for beef consumption in Canada?

For one, the diet of Canadians will be affected.

According to a post on X from 2024, Charlebois says Canadians were estimated to consume 23.4 kg of beef — down from 41.4 kg in 1981.

"This represents a 43.4% decrease in beef consumption over the past 35 years," writes Charlebois.
