I scrolled back as well and reread your questions. I also re-educated myself on the exact meaning of rhetorical questions even though I know what a rhetorical question is and I have frequently used the phrase "is that a rhetorical question" while employing my usual sarcasm and dry wit.

That much said, after bringing up this subject during this mornings conference call, the unanimous opinion of all who were present is that your questions were legitimately seeking answers.

"Who were present"is often the driving force behind my witticisms and larrikinismism. Like when I was telling the story about anally fisting Trump's Niece with my lubed-up forearm. She was online at the time and I thought that she might get a little hot around the collar...or perhaps a tad moist! Innit!?
