Good ones are expensive.

Moccamasters are considered good..



They start at around 200e.





Of course you can go real fancy and buy a coffee machine that grinds the coffee beans, adds milk, sugar, cream, has bluetooth, wifi and makes all sorts of coffee and tea..





All I need is your regular cup of coffee black.

My husband's favourite coffee brands are Nabob and Edward's espresso.

You wake up and make coffee.

We had one of those dual cup electronic makers years ago. European and temperamental. It wasn't worth the money for all the hassles. When it decided that it needed a cleaning cycle or some other programmed messing about, it would go on strike.



We got rid of it with extreme malice.

Ours has been running flawlessly for years.



It is one of the more expensive brands though.

A question for caskur, Bricktop, DD and feral. What's the best coffee chain in Aus?

The coffee chain thing never really took off in Australia. There's a few small chains around but overall people get their coffees from cafes.

Second Cup is the best chain here in my opinion anyway. Tim Horton's coffee is not what it used to be.
