Our government is about to implement a cashless card for welfare recipients.



They can buy food and fuel with them,  but they will have no cash value with which to buy drugs.  Many people believe it should also exclude cigarettes and alcohol.

And thanks to that freaking ideology I will most likely be burgled AGAIN... and all our oldies will be a HUGE mugging potential...

Isn't that the same as the American food stamps program? Recipients exchange the food stamps for below their value for alcohol and cigarettes.

That is exactly what happens.

Nothing seems to work in the city I live in. We keep them alive with low doses of heroin. But, why do they want to keep breathing.

To be free of heroin, but most won't succeed.

Reducing their tax funded allowances just turns them to petty crime on us unarmed citizens.



I gave up smoking 5.3 years ago but my aunty said our cigarettes are now $28 for a packet of 20. She and my sister see people at our casino picking up other people's butts off the ground and smoking them. That is a HUGE problem if those fools catch one of the Hepatitis viruses or the flu where people are hospitalized.



Personally I am sick to death worrying about government saving money... Fuck the government.  They'll never save money while their arses point to the ground.

That was Ralph Klein. The socialist premier of BC at the time went from boasting about all the taxpayer money he was blowing on methadone and other drugs for addicts to slashing budgets once word got out in other provinces that Bristish Columbia was throwing a party for junkies on the taxpayers dime.

I do not think it's the state's responsibility to place people's kids in state operated daycare. Give parents a good tax credit, and they can decide for themselves where to spend their daycare dollars.

We got homeless Afghan vets in this country while asylum shoppers take advantage of loopholes and cross the border with the US at non designated crossings and are then eligible for a shitload of benefits our vets are not. It's about priorities and the progtards running this fucked up country have them all wrong.
