You are both correct. I worked in DC and Maryland and also lived in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Baltimore is a one-hour drive from Washington, D.C. if you do not encounter delays.
When you are in Maryland, some parts of it border Washington, D.C. For example, in NW D.C., you can be in Maryland right away after crossing the street. The same goes for Virginia. You cross the Memorial Bridge from Washington, D.C. and you are in Arlington, Virginia. You cross another bridge from Washington, D.C., specifically the Francis Scott Key Bridge, you are in Rosslyn, Virginia. So on and so forth.:JC_howdy:
Do you miss that area?
In a way I do because my sons are over there. Also, I miss the free museums that you can just go in anytime. That is all really. I do not miss the hot and humid summers.
