Well the reality in this case is very different. His grandfather is very well known in BC and his identity was outed by GBB on MB many years ago. When this happened I made an inquiry and Eddie is indeed the adopted grandson of BW. BW is the original developer and money behind Whistler Village, was the Chairman of Canada's largest credit union for at least a decade, developed SFU's Surrey campus, the head of the Vancouver City Planning Commision, a BC Legislature Cabinet Minster (environment) as well as owning many bars and pubs throughout the province.



I believe Edward's grandfather also holds an Order of Canada as well as an Order of  BC.



His grandfather is very legit and real. Being such a prominent local person the detail are very easy to confirm once you know the real names involved.



PS- Edward's last name starts with an F rather than the W of his famous grandfather.

Deny reality all you wish, I met his grandfather and mother long before Edward was ever online when they owned the Railway Club. When GBB deduced on MB who Edward's family was it was very easy to confirm or deny GBB's claim. All I had to do is ask a former employee of the Railway about the owner's family and up pops Edward with details to match many of his claims. Confirmed, Edward is indeed the Grandson of BW.



These days Ed doesn't even try to hide who the old guy is.
