CNN White House correspondent John Harwood was absolutely hammered on social media over a column he penned claiming President Joe Biden was powerless to help Americans.



Harwood also admitted that Biden's massive deficit spending made inflation worse, but added, "he can't fix that now."



"CNNs white house correspondent wrote a column stating as fact that President Biden can't do anything about crime, inflation, or the border -- all areas the admin has tons of power. Isn't this a big part of why media is losing trust, obvious bias?" tweeted reporter Zaid Jilani.

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey blasts Brian Stelter, says he witnessed incident in which CNN tried to falsify news

Jack Dorsey, former Twitter CEO and co-founder, hit out at CNN's Brian Stelter on Sunday and said that he has seen CNN promoting falsified news reports and pushing narratives after witnessing an incident that took place during the 2014 Ferguson, Missouri, riots.



Dorsey later took aim at the network in response to a tweet from Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Abdali Idan, who wrote, "Even @CNN sometimes sells false news. I know this from covering Iraq events in 2019. People need to understand every media is prone to either mistakes or deliberate corruption. Do your own investigations before believing what they're selling you."



Her remark prompted Dorsey to tweet, "I know this from being on the streets of Ferguson during the protests and watching them try to create conflict and film it causing the protestors to chant 'f*** CNN.'"

MSNBC host Ari Melber was slapped with a brutal lesson in self-awareness on Monday after expressing fear that Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter would result in election manipulation.



What are the details?

Melber, speaking on his show "The Beat With Ari Melber," complained that Musk could exploit Twitter to manipulate democracy.



"If you own all of Twitter or Facebook or what have you, you don't have to explain yourself. You don't even have to be transparent," Melber said.



"You could secretly ban one party's candidate or all of its candidates, all of its nominees. Or you could just secretly turn down the reach of their stuff, and turn up the reach of something else and the rest of us might not even find out until after the election," he added.



What was the reaction?

Melber's concerns immediately drew fierce backlash because Twitter already engages in "content moderation" practices that seemingly do exactly what Melber is concerned about.



A prime example is the bombshell New York Post story about the Hunter Biden laptop. Twitter intentionally suppressed the story over "lack of authoritative reporting on the origins of the materials included in the article." But as it turned out, the story was 100% true. Twitter also purged tens of thousands of accounts after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, for example.

CNN+ will be discontinued on Thursday, two days earlier than was initially announced last week.



An email to subscribers pegged the end date as April 28, according to The Verge, and a support page on CNN.com also said that the service will discontinued then.



"After April 28, 2022, the CNN+ daily and weekly shows, Interview Club, and the on-demand library of CNN Original Series and Films will no longer be available," the message reads.



It only launched on March 29, 2022  .. . and nobody watched it
