I'm a car enthusiast and my lineage dates back to 15th century England and there were titles before the sisters were fighting over Henry's crown.  But you don't see me boasting about what my house is worth or what my children will inherit in the wake of losing their father.  That was pathetic to read.

I don't give tons.  I give modestly.  I have to give out of my own money.  My partner's a conservative and he's not ever given once...wait, I lie.  At work we supply a poor family with toys and clothes for the kids and food for the entire family.  I convinced him to buy a cheap football at Wal-Mart one time.

My only experience with conservatives is that they don't care about others' well-being outside the family.



He is very generous with gifts, etc to me.  But others?  Not at all.
