I "was" gonna have that lol, but a girl at work gave me a big thing of baked ziti. Her family gets a lot of food given at their church, since her mom has cancer. Sometimes they get too much, and they might swing me something lol.

It's not something I would normally buy when shopping, but maybe I should.

Sharwoods or Pataks are reasonable quality shelf goods for quick Indian meals.



We're having Indian takeaway tonight. I'll probably get the lamb vindaloo with jeera rice and masala kulcha. Their lamb is so tender.

Wanted to try something different so asked for the Mixed Malabar (mixed seafood, coconut, and southern spices) but our guy regretfully informed that he's had quality issues with his scallop supplier and isn't selling any until he finds a better one.



Settled for a lamb Madras instead. Need to hop in the ute soon and go fetch.

I had lamb when we lived in Kazakhstan, but I never really developed a taste for it..s

I bought a ham, cheese and spinach quiche for supper tonight.

I got treated to a small steak on Friday, had a turkey trot sammich and Irish nachos Saturday night, last night I did a bbq dry rub on some salmon, and grilled it, with veggie egg rolls and rice.



For tonight, it was so nice out, so I grilled burgers and had some fries. Soup night can wait til tomorrow or wednesday when its cold, raining, and maybe snowing.
