He is trying to imply that in the extremely rare event a tanker capsized any cost recouping spilled crude would be borne by taxpayers and that is bullshit. Twenty four years ago Exxon spent an estimated $2 billion cleaning up the spill and a further $1 billion to settle related civil and criminal charge. Governments recouped their costs.

Conservative debt hawks seem to think that running a government is like running a home. What they fail to realize is that microeconomics is different from macroeconomics. This long standing fundamental misunderstanding is the root cause of almost all of North America's political problems.



In summary, conservatives are dumb as fuck and they need to read some books.
