Does Anyone Get Married In A Church Anymore?

... ran into an old girlfriend yesterday and she was telling me how she'd attended the wedding of someone i knew from high school ...



... the wedding was held on gabriola island and she described it as a "hippy-style" wedding. but this got me to thinking, does anyone get married in a church anymore? i can't think of anyone i know who was wedded in a church, myself included. no, that's not entirely true, i did go to a church wedding of a cousin in england many years ago. but that's the only one i can think of ...



... so what's your take on this? is anyone getting married in churches these days?  were you married in one?

It still happens Sharky. Not as common of course, but still happens.

A former colleague of mine had a church wedding in the summer of 2014. He's an atheist too by the way. ac_wot
