You dont have that swimmers body type... More bulky type.

Its normal for a guy to run 2,7km in 12mins..

3km is the limit for cops and soldiers.

Chicks can run 2,3km in 12mins.

What do you eat?

I can do push ups indefinately so I get bored.. And they are not really that effective.

I do chin ups and dips.

You probably dont remember how to use all your muscles..

You should do real push ups.. You'll notice approvement in a short time.

I have my routine..

Warm up with a rowing machine.

Lat pulldown.

Thighs.

Leg press.

Abs.

Back.

Biceps.

Bench press.

Sides.

Repeat, repeat, repeat... And then stretching.

I also punch the boxing bag.

I jog almost everyday and ride a bicycle.

I don't think I really want a swimmer's body, but I think I will work on the running a bit more.

Living in a midwestern city you see a lot of people who can't run more than a block. Everything is set up for convenience with public transportation even reaching to the outskirts of town. The food is the worst culprit. For every fruit and vegetable market there are 10 to 20 places that sell fast food and more than half of them deliver. Hack, I just heard of a service called Door Dash that will go buy your groceries, run errands that involve dealing with merchants, even pick up and wash your dirty laundry and bring it back for you.

Most people have and rely on their smart phones, and it quickly becomes their lifeline and excuse to notleave their neighborhood.

We have a holiday coming up (called Thanksgiving which I'm sure you've heard of). It's basically an excuse to eat until you're full. It's customary for guests to bring some food item to add to the feast. It can get quite ridiculous. I've seen worse than this.

Lately, I've been eating turkey, chicken, or some kind of whiter meat as a staple for my protein, alternating with fish once or twice a week. I drink coffee in the mornings, and sometimes I have fruit or something with more carbs like bread. There isn't a lot of variance in my meals right now.

The thing is, I want to work out harder than I currently do, but pretty much everyone except you is telling me I should keep it slow and steady since my primary goal is weight loss for now.

I would imagine it's  like  Skip  The Dishes , but with  additional services.

I believe they do, but I think they only operate in select cities.

When I first saw their name, it was on a news outlet like CNN or HLN.

They might have a lot of competition in the U.S. I've been noticing more and more of these independent courier services popping up.

I bet they make a lot of money during the winter.

Kijiji in my city has tons of ads for people offering those kinds of services.

You could do interval running.

They wont deliver you more beer and salami pizza.

The fastfood culture has not really settled here.. We have no extremely fat people.

The skinny cityboys are in worse shape than the fatties.

You are on a diet that eats away your muscle mass.

When i was well over 300 lbs, I thought I could stand to lose some muscle mass.

I started seeing how much I could stand to shrink while still maintaining and increasing strength, and it made me wonder what kind of balance between strength, lean muscle, and endurance were possible for me near this weight. I could stand to work harder at it, but it's not really an obsession right now.

Some of it is back and forth progress, but I'm more concerned with the weight loss... at least until I get under 280 lbs.

You'll have a lot of loose skin if you lose too much weight too fast.

Thats why you need to build muscle..

Average fat burning diets are really unhealthy and burn away your muscle.

Doctors are not specialists in weight loss.

At best they can give you some before-surgery murder diet.

I was never a candidate for gastric bypass surgery, but I know of a few people online who have tried it. It seems like such a crude way of fixing the problem.
