People stick with their own.  Groups stick with their own.



My industry has essentially been taken over by the East Indians.  They stick together like you've never seen.  They tend to deal with their own in almost all aspects of life.

My accountant that files my corporate taxes is a 'Good Christian,' and he's royally ripping me off.  I understand that people want to make a profit, but his rate is stratospherically high.



Next year I will attempt to file my own T2 using TurboTax small business corporate ($250 for software).  If that doesn't work out, I'm finding another accountant.

Otherwise do your own but be aware there may be issues a good accountant can advise you better on and maybe save you on tax amount

I always do my personal T4's paper style, by myself, and have had success for 20 years in doing so.  I used to do my ex's also.



The basics I do understand.  T2 Corporate is not something that I'm familiar with, and I know there is much more to it than a basic T4.



However, if I'm paying $250 for the software alone, there must be some intrinsic value to this, or I'd attempt a paper T2 also!  There must be some hints...



I keep my books (as I am required to by law for 6 years or whatever), so I have previous years numbers.  I'll only assume the software will make this relatively easy to input?



Either way, I'm going to attempt to do so, and will report back with results.  



My end of year is Dec. 31, so I have six months from that date to file.  It's not like I'm rushed.
