This is the actual picture off the camera before I flipped it and saturated it. It's a good picture but not a great picture.


That's a shame. It's bloody hard reading menus and settings with less than optimal vision.



However, your focusing should work OK despite your vision. Does your Panny have a "Sport" setting? If so, try that, as it will prioritise shutter speed over aperture.

Three reasons I hate pelicans...



1. they're ugly.



2. Their eyes rarely throw a highlight



3. And they swallow pigeons whole.

Yes, they are gentle. 2 types of doves bread around my area, The Senegal Dove also know as the Laughing Dove and I think the other one is the Speckled Neck Dove. The Senegal Dove has black eyes And the Speckled neck dove has Orange eyes.

The crested pigeon is unique looking..



Doves make good pet birds, but I don't know if they can be trained to speak.

People usually eat them.... Not in Australia though, that is illegal.

The Crested pigeon is very pretty.

They had a pair of very friendly Doves at a Petland store..



But, I prefer parrots.

After this covid pandemic is over, I'm so going to Oz to see all the pigeons, it's funny how most of the birds I have originated from Australia.  Great shots like these really makes my day.  ac_drinks
