A man caught on video allegedly kicking an anti-abortion protester, is facing nine assault charges after surrendering to police.



Toronto police said Jordan Hunt, a 26-year-old from Toronto, turned himself in on Saturday.



Hunt is facing eight counts of assault and seven counts of mischief under $5,000 for the September incident. He appeared in court at Old City Hall on the Saturday he surrendered, at 10 a.m.



Police said Hunt is also facing one count of assault for a previous incident on Aug. 2, when he allegedly approached a group of anti-abortion protestors rallying at Dufferin and Dundas West Sts. and tried to grab their signs.

He won't get a bail hearing until at least Tuesday. There are some tough remand centers in Toronto. I doubt he will be as brave with the inmates as he is with women who disagree with him.

The man caught roundhouse kicking a pro-life woman on a video that has since gone viral was released Saturday from police custody on $500 bail.



Hunt's bail order forbids him being within 500 meters of any "organized pro-life demonstration," and contacting or being within 200 meters of ten individuals, most of them involved in the Life Chain incident.



That includes Campaign Life Coalition youth director Marie-Claire Bissonnette, who filmed the video catching Hunt abruptly roundhouse kicking her in the shoulder after a brief exchange, knocking her phone out of her hand.

YET AGAIN - 10 days ago - Have not seen this one (unless someone else posted it?) - "On Monday, October 1, two Toronto Against Abortion team members were attacked while engaging in civil discussion about abortion with pro-choice counterprotesters at Ryerson."



"Gabby Skwarko, a member of the Ryerson Reproductive Justice Collective and last year's Faculty of Arts Director at the Ryerson Students Union, approached Blaise Alleyne and Katie Somers from behind and launched into an attack on them and their property. Another member of the Ryerson Reproductive Justice Collective attempted to block one of the cameras from filming the attack."



Police and EMS were called. Katie Somers suffered injury, including bruising to her leg. An investigation is ongoing, but charges have not yet been laid.



It's open season on pro-life women in Canada, where, in the past two weeks as many as two women have been assaulted by zealous abortion crazies whose self-righteousness on the virtues of baby-killing have motivated their violent behavior.



"She chased after me, grabbed my full, stainless steel water bottle and smashed it on the ground, then grabbed my backpack, yanking me back and forth," Somers said of the attack. "I yelled, 'Get away from me!' And she came after me and shoved me. She then moved on to Blaise, bumping him in the chest with hers and saying, 'Let's go, are you filming me? Let's do this!'"



Other video shows the enraged woman throwing a metal dolly and clamp at the pro-life demonstrators



"The possibility of self-defense was gone for me the moment she used the metal cart as a weapon," Somers told LifeNews. "At that point I was terrified of having my teeth broken, being concussed, or worse, and my priority was to get away and to safety."



Somers allegedly had her right wrist injured, with bruises along her right leg during the encounter. Gabby Skwarko of the Ryerson Reproductive Justice Collective is the alleged assaulter.
