Violence You Say?? Who needs guns!!

https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2018/10/10/national-mall-suicide-bomb-plot/">CBS - Feds: NY Man Planned To Blow Himself Up On National Mall On Election Day

As alleged, Paul M. Rosenfeld concocted a twisted plan to draw attention to his political ideology by killing himself on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. risking harm to many others in the process," said U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman. "Rosenfeld's alleged plan for an Election Day detonation cut against our democratic principles."

Rosenfeld allegedly supported a political belief called sortition, which advocates for random selection of government officials.

Rosenfeld allegedly bought large quantities black powder over the internet to build a large bomb in his basement, authorities said. He had previously made and tested other small bombs, according to authorities.

When FBI agent searched his home, they found "what appeared to be a functional explosive device weighing approximately 200 pounds."

John David Rice-Cameron, the Stanford College Republicans president, is pressing charges against a liberal student who allegedly "hit him" and "forcefully pushed him back" during a pro-Brett Kavanaugh event Tuesday afternoon.

Rice-Cameron is the son of controversial Obama administration official Susan Rice, who is rumored to be considering a run against Susan Collins, R-Maine, following her support in the Senate for confirmation of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. But on the other side of the aisle on the Left Coast, her son is busy working to "Make Stanford Great Again" as an outspoken supporter of President Trump and conservative values.

While one student was arrested for battery, other students were caught on camera ripping up College Republican signs supporting Kavanaugh at their "Change My Mind" table.

ANY violence is not beyond their purpose.

However, at the moment it is disorganised, and usually confined to lone wolf retards. Organised, militant violence that was experienced in the 60's has yet to re-appear.

If it does, given the access to more and more powerful weapons, technology and communications, the modern anarchist and socialist has much greater destructive power at their disposal.

True, governments are also more capable of dealing with extremism, but that is not enough, as we've experienced.

cc

Antifa and BLM are organized ... and at the same time allow members to lone wolf it .. which I firmly believe is the plan and a very good one from their perspective ... There are other "loose" groups in the wings

The base is there already. As people come together it will get ugly

In fact, it appears to me that a large % of the left is wanting violence  ... it's own leaders are firing them up and while not openly calling for violence they are in effect giving approval and encouragement.. hillary, holder etc. etc.

If they lose the Senate (which seems they likely will) it will get ugly ... if they lose the House (quite possible if not even likely)  ... they will feel they (citizens and leaders) have nothing to lose  and all hell will break loose ... TDS will be just plain DS

Only total victory in the election for the left would stop it .. and that's not looking very likely  right now

There is no doubt that there is a strategic policy that includes violence on the socialist side.

What is different this time from times past is that the political leaders on the left are not just supporting it, they are promoting it. That path leads to only one destination.

yes,  only to one

Ironically, the left thought they could "play" the Kavanaugh thing into victory and thus treated it the way they did  .. despite their great efforts, a large majority have found their actions despicable   .. thus, the opposite is  happening as the right found its spine and followers are liking that (thanks to Trump teaching them how to fight to WIN in fact) ...

The left losing this fall will "do it" I believe ... whether Senate only or both houses

To call for increased incivility in this kind of climate where leftists are harassing, threatening, doxxing, beating people, and trying to kill them, may not be illegal,  but it is absolutely a massively irresponsible incitement of violence.

So is Hillary calling for doxing Republicans  because they don't stand for her corruption.

I hope so.  For representative democracy to work when one side gets too extreme and violent its important that the people recognize that and punish such a party at the ballot box.  this sends them a message to knock it off.

In the aftermath of Kavanaugh dems have lost significant numbers in the polls.   You would think because of this they would chill out for a while, but they are doubling down on their tactics. They seem to think they haven't fought hard and nasty enough, not that they have been overly aggressive and are paying a price for it.

BTW I was too young at the time to remember the 60s, but I do know there was a lot of turmoil in America and I think globally.  Was it better than things are now, about the same, or was it worse in your estimation?  TIA

Rep. Steve Scalise: When Eric Holder, other Dems call for violence, that's a direct threat to our democracy

QuoteAs a survivor of a politically motivated attack, it is tragic to think this is an acceptable state of political discourse in our country. I refuse to stand for this and I will continue to call for an end to it. A healthy, strong democracy is not possible if anyone lives in fear of expressing their views.

If this is going to stop, it must start with Democratic leaders, who need to condemn, rather than promote these dangerous calls to action.

In America, we win battles at the ballot box, not through mob rule or intimidation. While it's clear many Democrats refuse to accept the election of President Trump, if they want change, they need to convince people with their ideas and actually win elections, rather than call for violent resistance, harassment, and mob rule.

As I see, working in Congress every day, it's possible to agree without being disagreeable and address political differences in a civil manner. That's an example leaders need to continue to set.

Instead, when Democratic leaders like Eric Holder call for violence, that is a direct threat to our democracy.
the left has almost completely abandoned the idea of convincing people their ideas are better. they have opted instead to use only coercive techniques to get their way, and they are escalating with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

This is clearly seen, whether using left (90%) or other media. Even left media supports "whatever it takes to win in OK"  .. so there is support everywhere for this
