No way you bought THAT new.

It was 4 years old when I bought it.



One owner before that.



Joy to drive, super comfortable, but the heat baked every bit of Japanese approved rubber and component into a leaky mess.



Couldn't rationalize paying out the wazoo every time something didn't function because of sustained heat, when the moon roof leaked during heavy rains, and so on and so forth.



The cost of even basic parts were 3x dearer than alternatives and I parked that beautiful monster real quick then bought a brand new Toyota ute, and virtually gave the Legend away.





It was not made for this climate. I put about 60k on its odometer but had to spend an extra 15k in $ to deal with its problems.



And yes, I could have bought a new one at the time and I'm happy I didn't.

I've had a LOT of Hondas, and still have one that is 20 years old.



Nothing of that nature ever happened with mine.



I suspect it was kept ungaraged, and poorly maintained.



I also never found parts to be much different to other comparable makes, and certainly nowhere near European brands.

Well, I had it checked over by a mechanic when I purchased it. Others have since told me that modern Hondas have a habit of falling down around the 5 to 6 year mark.



Legend parts were very dear. Dunno about their other models.

Also loosened the exhaust pipe so that it would be louder..

Skoda is cheap and popular family car.. Heard that it is a decent car..
