Thats because Jeeps have gone to shit. My model is one of the last of its kind, the TJ model, ended in '06.

It seems so. There was a huge rush on them for a few years, but eventually the horror stories and consumer complaints overwhelmed them. They can't give them away now. Fiat needs to decide it it wants to invest in the brand, or simply abandon it. Fiat has never been known for its capability in off-road vehicle production.

We had an old jeep which we gave away to an elderly pensioner and former mechanic. We could have sold it but it was just easier giving it to him and getting rid of it. Total space waster it was.
