She is 100% correct. Canada is an English speaking country therefore those shop attendants should speak in English in front of her..

The employee did speak English.

Not the whole time. They passed messages in Chinese between them.

The asian guy in the glasses was the problem. Not sure if they are Chinese or Filipino.

I agree. It is rude to speak to another person in their own dialect in front of someone who cannot understand. That is a very rude thing. I try never to do that to anyone.

I had some upset customers during my five years I was a waitress in a Chinese restaurant.

The trick is not to get agitated... It doesnt matter if he/she insulted your mother..



Just go with the flow and remain polite..







This one customer asked if I´m slow-minded because after he called me an asshole, I just cheerfully said "have a great day.. You are welcome back".

People that treat those serving them badly are often not angry with the servers themselves.
