I can find livable homes in all White Texas towns for $100,000, sometimes even a bit less.  This is absolutely unheard of anywhere in this Province.  Here, $100,000 will get you a piece of bare land out in the middle of nowhere.  Services will be up to you to run into property.

I saw on the news about affluent mainland Chinese women going to Richmond hospital to give birth and and then going back to China and leaving a large hospital bill behind..



Mainlanders with money have very little confidence in China's long term prospects and seek an insurance policy(a foreign passport) in case things turn bad.

Yeah. so they're hoarding our land and displacing Canadian born residents & throwing them out onto the street.



That's why everybody including Mel hates them.



We have so many empty homes in Vancouver due to these mainland offshore Chinese.



We have less an actual housing shortage problem & more one of land hoarding.

Well they didn't really need it, they had an open border country where you could simply wander into from some other EU nation and be welcomed (by the socialist government at least). A large part of the reason Brexit was formented, I think you'll find.

no they ended it because there was too much abuse of this privelege.



So did Australia.



People thought Andrew Scheer was a racist cuz he proposed ending it too, but those countries already did.



USA & Canada should scrap it too or at least require some visa or legal entry like a work visa minimally

The Schengen Treaty allows for free movement of labour, but it does not make one a citizen of that country.

They are doing all that just by immigrating here.



I do think adding 1,000,000 new immigrants every three years puts our infrastructure under an enormous burden. Not to mention the housing shortage in our cities.
