It takes more than just IP Queries, post cross-references, and viewing and tracking Guest IP addies that are simply viewing but not not posting...  That's just a part of it.  The other part of the equation comes from knowing what time certain posters tend to post, and their posting habits also.  The vast majority of 'Guests' will not just post in this Guest sub.  They will also post on the Registered board...  if not here, at a related Registered Only forum.  Over time, with the right tools and a little bit of browsing around, I can formulate who's who most of the time.
OCD much? Obsessed with things that don't matter to real people?  :2r4ml1j_th:

You are scary and only  because you are obsessed with things that do not matter to sane people.

I'm trying to think of something less relevant and worth less effort than "who is who" on an insignificant unregistered sub forum .. So far no luck.

As I said, if you were 1 / 100 as smart as you think U R, you would be dangerous. Especially with the OCD factor

Fortunately you are not

She literally is retarded. I don't feel bad for stating this, since time and time again I've tried to explain to her how Guest posting works. As an Admin, she will have access to IP queries. To be honest, I don't think she even knows what an IP Query is. In fact, I don't think she even knows how to utilize an Admin panel, other than to maybe delete or sticky a thread...

And sane and not potentially dangerous people would care, much less bother to track / stalk "who is who" which is none of their business ... like why? :confused1:

"Markus" (after I had gone to sleep)) eh? You are fun to play with and so easy

This is CC, right?  I can often tell posters apart by words and phrases that they use.  Syntax, grammar, style, etc.

So just stop hiding behind Guest posting ya Jew, because Mel can sniff them out with more efficiency than the National Socialists could!~   ac_razz

wot now am I accused of?

Nothing. He's trying to establish the super secret identity of that person without resorting to a panel.

He may even get it right eventually. Then he can crow about how smart he is. You know, "important stuff".

Maybe the OP should move to China. It sounds like there are lots of jobs in China.

I do remember!  Unfortunately most jobs now expect people to be connected 24/7, including mine.

I actually do not have cell service where I live now (rural, mountainous, low population, and some people just don't want it here), and it's a blast from the past!  The corner stores still all have payphones here.

And no!  You can't report a drunk driver!  No cell service!  You also have to be careful though, because if you do have a problem, you need to know that you might be own your own depending on where you are.

You called on your personal responsibility. An aware citizen knew that they couldn't depend on anything but themselves. Now that didn't stop "unaware" citizens from mucking up the works but it did force those who were "aware" to gain the necessary skills needed to handle an emergency situation.

That is one of the failings of today's youth who were practically born with a cell phone attached to their person. Most people under the age of 30 today can't even change a tire or start a lawn mower. If they can't find an APP for it, they're fucked. They are too busy posting narcissistic, stupid shit on social media, showing off how "woke" they are, to actually be worth more than the average cardboard cutout of a responsible citizen.

So true. This is probably the most astute observation I have read on this site. The question is, does technology make an individual weak? Decide for yourself but I believe Renee is spot on. Technology now makes it very easy to be a lazy, ignorant, dumbass fuck.

Technology in and of itself does not make a person weak. However, make that technology so accessible that even a dumbfuck can use it and watch the dumbfucks mooch up to the plate.

Take for instance access to the internet. A quarter of a century ago the intellectual barrier to accessing it was a lot higher than it is now; if you couldn't write a TCP/IP script you at least needed to know someone who could. These days you have help desks whose sole purpose is designed to tell morons which pretty picture they need to press on their telephones. And suddenly all the people who once upon a time used to be left to languish in their parents basements are out getting their jollies on just how many likes they can get... and how much opprobrium they can dish out on any meanies who made them cry.

Gun skills, knife skills and how to kill and disable using only your hands. Those are the skills he needs.
