Engineers are pretty expendable.. Lots of them nowadays.

Shen Li can be replaced with a chinese engineer who works for half the salary..

Political coercion by employers has been going on for a long time and thanks to a 2015 Supreme Court decision It's completely legal and sanctioned in the US.

We are now in the midst of the big corporate race to be "woke"....No one wants to be last.

Jesus H. That is some dictator type control US employers have over their employees.

Employees should sue if they're forced to wear political themes.

I agree, but with jobs so hard to get these days thanks to forced lock downs, people who disagree will hold their noses and wear them. However, the snowflakes who work at Starbucks all agree I'm sure.

Nah, the snowflakes will cheer it for all of five minutes if you're lucky, then decide that even that isn't enough and find something else to complain about.

Case in point; while the BBC is now effectively telling Karens to shut the fuck up and issuing memos to their employees that they must use correct personal pronouns when dealing with intersectionalists, the transgender lobby is still naming Aunty Beeb a bunch of transphobes after they forgot to pay the protection money to a number of LGBTQ groups this months.

Who do you reckon is the next group the woke crowd will be going after? My money is on the black males.

Corporations promote all libtard causes.

I actually run a corporation, albeit a very small one.

Starbucks is losing nothing in doing so, since they needed that many new shirts anyhow to replace the old ones, and for new hires.  It's a business expense providing shirts to your employees, and as such it doesn't count as taxable revenue earned.

So, why not order the next batch of shirts, most likely made in Bangladesh, with the "White People are Bad, I love Negroes" slogan printed cheaply on it at the same time, from the same factory?

They are just going with the current flow, which is anti-white, pro-left...  Maybe it stops the Nigs and Antifa from destroying their locations?  I doubt it will, since Nigs and Antifa destroy everything anyhow, so it is what it is...  The new norm!

Get used to it, because you haven't seen anything yet...

Starbucks can make their employees wear whatever the fuck they want. It won't make me any more likely to buy their "coffee" and it can scarcely make me want it any less at this point.

My advice? Stop bitching about it and vote with your feet. If it hurts their bottom line for long enough, they'll either come crawling back or go broke. Either way it's a win.

I read this from your link, " in most states, managers have the legal right to mandate worker attendance at a political rally for a favored candidate-and fire or punish workers who decline to participate."

Disturbing.

Indeed

Why are you people so surprised when some1 decides to enter the office armed with an AR-15?

You basically force people in a situation where they yield like a bitch or lose everything.

I agree. Either quit or shut up and wear the fucking shirt. Starbuck's political slant has been well known for years so work for Chick-Fil A or Cabellas if it so offends you. As a customer, stop your bitching and go elsewhere, as said, vote with your feet not your mouth. In the end, it boils down product and service, politcal ideology is pretty fucking low on the priority list when it comes to buying a cup of coffee or a burger.
