Its an addiction.

Ordering new stuff and waiting for it to arrive, gives you a rush.

A lot of people have bad credit because of that.

Eggsatically...

Breaking a hobby or compulsion within online shopping can be difficult. It's all there waiting for you to say "you need to live in my wardrobe, bookshelf, or man cave"...

....but often when it arrives and you try whatever on for size, you'll quickly realize it was totally unnecessary.

I try to guard against such buys.

I can become an addiction..

South Koreans have among the highest consumer debt in the world(so do Canadians)..

And one of the reasons for that is South Korean women addicted to online shopping.

Yup.... I have and can live with nothing and it's more than often enjoyable.... but for decades there's been a underlying drive in me to "make it better, easier, lighter, less cumbersome, more portable, more technological"... Even if I have everything I need, I still have this persistent urge to upgrade something for the tiniest misgiving or flaw.

Then I realized 5 years ago that everything I had was basically high tech shit. It wouldn't survive at best for a decade (with constant care). It was a ticking time bomb...but I had heaps of this high tech shit and whiz bang specs now taking up valuable space in my home (then superseded by marginally new tech)...

So I offloaded the cheapest stuff....mostly giving it away to people in immediate need, bundled up the really expensive shit or the unboxed shit for a later day, and stopped buying new shit unless it was necessary.

I suspect females do similarly with their hobbies.

Yes we all have our hobbies and online shopping obsessions...

I obsessively cruise the internet for deals on flats of 1oz, 12ga target loads. This ammo shortage is a bitch...The other day a new set of 16ga snap caps got delivered... I was so excited that I almost wet myself... ac_biggrin

Shortages of ammo too eh.

Yep, supply train issues, panic buying, Remington going belly up, price gouging, all play a part.

It's been a reality for almost 2 years now and it's expected to continue thru 2022.

Ironically the gang bangers in places like Chicago don't seem to have any problems finding ammo... ac_umm

They probably have a taxpayer funded place where they can get safe rounds and guns for free.

I don't shop online at all...its all crappy stuff that comes from China...ive ordered a couple times online, I saw some cool things...when I got them, they were nothing as advertised and complete crap.  I will however order thru Amazon occasionally...only because they have a good refund policy and they actually send you what you order.  But that's rare for me.

If I want something, esp clothing, I go to the mall or stores...I need to see the item before I purchase.  I don't like shopping...I don't need to order stupid stuff online, nor do I need to walk theu a mall and  buy absolutely everything...I have no idea how people do that?

I do check out value village every so often...I go to the men's section for long sleeve tops...all of the tops I buy are for work...and they will eventually get ruined in one way or another....majority of my wardrobe is work clothes....then I have a smaller section of skinny jeans, dress pants, cute tops and some jumpers...mostly I wear during the spring and summer....the rest of the year is all work.

I also have another little section of weird stuff, hair pieces, hats, etc...cause I like taking pics and getting creative.

Everything is from China and a few other countries between South East Asia and South Asia..

I like going into clothing stores too, but the online selection is so much better.

I try to buy my stuff from Western manufacturers but ultimately, all the building materials come from China.

I'm really happy if there's info that it's not.

That's true DD......products that claim to be made in Canada are deceving consumers.

The only remaining flamer at Bastard Factory is the Scottish man known as Blandscape. You can see how mentally ill he has become after spending all those years posting on flame forums by simply reading his posts.

If you have any doubts that he is insane, simply send him a private message at Bastard Factory and read his responses.

People like Oak and blandscape follow Dovey around like paparazzi, spamming the same things over and over until people get so bored they eventually leave the forum.

The worst part is running into a disgusting porn gif while scrolling through posts, Caskur was so enraged after seeing a graphic porn gif that she hexed the person who posted it.

I still like Oak even though she thinks I'm a racist.

"Hexed"??? For real?..Seriously?...Surely not... :nea:

If that dumb, lump of useless flesh, Caskur knows anything about the Gardnerian tradition she should be aware of the ethics of reciprocity. It's simply not wise to waste dark energy on something as petty as the posting of a porn gif... :laugh3:

Bingo. Oak is very manipulative.
